Complimentary services we offer:
AutoWorks provides several services to our loyal customers and to our fleet customers that are free of charge.
Visual inspection: When you bring your vehicle to our shop for an oil change, our professional and expert technicians will apply a visual inspection of your vehicle’s major components and systems that will identify any major issues with your vehicle and help you plan your future auto maintenance and auto repair needs.
Our technicians will look outside, inside, and under your vehicle. They will determine what needs immediate attention and what can wait.
After our inspection, we will report to you what we found, evaluating the state of your vehicle.
Diagnostics: our expert technicians can diagnose almost everything that is wrong with your vehicle. And they can repair just about everything. If we can provide you with a diagnosis (without having to connect to our scanning equipment), based on a specific complaint, most of the time, there will be no charge. If we must use our scanning equipment and you perform the recommended repair at our shop, there will be no charge.
Estimates: Any time you bring in your vehicle with a specific complaint, we will determine the source of the complaint. If it is a part, a system, or a component that needs to be repaired, we will provide you an estimate.
Recommendations and Suggestions: Often, we find other issues with vehicles that come in with a specific complaint. Our service advisors take the time to review these recommendations with our customers and if the customers are interested, an estimate is provided. And note that our expert technicians, are very generous with their automotive knowledge. Often, our customers call to find out if a vehicle that they are considering purchasing is a good vehicle.
Tire Inspection: If you are not sure whether you need to replace your vehicle’s tires, please stop by and we can take a look. When it comes to tires, it is very important that they remain properly inflated, are in good shape, and are wearing evenly. AutoWorks technicians will check the tire pressure on all the tires, and put air in as necessary. If the Tire Pressure Monitor System light is on, we will reset it so that it goes off.
AC System Inspection: Most of the time, if your vehicle’s air-conditioning system is not working, it could be that the AC needs an evacuation and recharge, a process for which we charge about $140.00. We will not charge for the evacuation and recharge if during the procedure we determine that components or parts of the AC system are not working properly, such as the compressor, expansion valve, evaporator, or the condenser or there are hoses that are leaking. If we cannot evacuate or recharge the system because in the process we discover that the compressor is not working properly or there are other issues with the AC, we will not charge for the evacuation and recharge. We will provide you with an estimate to repair the system.
